Default Fruitless Pear trees

Several years ago the old Paul Revere town of Medford
(7 miles north of Bean Town 8-) started planting fruitless
pear trees in the boarders between sidewalks and roads in
replacemnet of troublesome Norway Maples, etc., and at
sping time they are in their blossoming glory that is just
delightfull.

If your town maintains planting trees similarly, you should
encourge them to do likewise! If they want more info they
should address the Tree Warden in Medford City Hall,
Medford, MA 02155

Ciao, Ack.
