No. Most of the time you can add meaningful subject line keywords to
your Killfile. In the present case words such as the following (when
used in the Subject Line) can be useful to filter out Off Topic posts in
rec.ponds (Off Topic being anything not pond related):

* Atheist
* Jabriol
* The Question is
* Morals
* Jesus Christ
* Psychopath
* Un prêtre parle de Jéhovah
* Jehovah
* Creationism

Etc...

I don't mean to offend anybody by including religious terms in the list
however, religious discussions *are* off topic in rec.ponds.
