dolomitic lime, dolomitic lime
repeat that about a one thousand times....
put 5-6 handfulls in the hole when planting
put a ring around the plant
enjoy the larger tomatoes...
to fix the current problem there is a spray you can buy to spray the plant -
go buy that
BER - blossom end rot - where the bottom of the tomato is rotten - also
effects the 1st tomato's on a plant.
If your plant has these you might as well pick them and let the plant put
its energy into other fruit
Insects - they are attracted to red fruits - so put out some red christmas
balls or other red balls PRIOR to the fruit getting red - this will confuse
the bugs!!
If it is a hole you are getting then it it is a stink bug and you can also
treat with various sprays to get rid of them
Tlord.

Have often tried to plant oxheart tomatoes, but they always seem to
attract insects and the fruit goes rotten before it is ripe. This does
not happen with my ordinary tomatoes. What do you think I am doing wrong?
Cheers, Margret
