If I were you, I'd do some research and find something that naturally lives
in your region, and may need little or no watering. That's sort of a trend
out your way, and there's a reason for it.

We have a 1 acre hillside in Southern California, and every year the wild
grass and weeds grow 4 feet tall before I can mow it in the summer. I am
thinking of seeding this area with White Yarrow. Although there is a
sprinkler system, the area gets very dry in the summer. Would the Yarrow
look nice for a hillside? I don't have any experience planting Yarrow
seeds. I heard it can be invasive, but in this case that is a desireable
quality if it looks nice. However if it does not look nice then that
could be a nightmare.

Thanks
