Once upon a time according to local legend, one of the residents of the
complex in which I live introduced a single yarrow plant into his/her
garden. From that single plant, it has spread over about half the
complex, which is about 5 blocks in size. I'm not sure how long it took
for the yarrow to do that. Maintenance keeps it quite short, and I
think it is attractive that way, especially on our 'little hill'. It is
very tough, and it is my understanding it grows well in a variety of
climates, including dry ones. However do not underestimate the meaning
of invasive.
