Thanks.

Only removed the hollow looking, clearly infected roots. Worried the
rest will follow suit. Without changing the soil, someone suggested
adding cinnamon. A remedy?

It's a white orchid, not too big, not too small. Not sure which kind.
Know there are quite a few (!) Sorry. Plant is potted in soft dark wood
chipping it looks like. Some roots look good. Petals have fallen off,
stems have been dying, green turning light brown starting from the top
and moving down, and large leaves at the base have been slowly fading
in color.

We need more information. What kind of orchid is it? What was it potted in?
Does it have any good roots? How does the plant look, overall?
