Following up to pammyT

they were when I was in Shetland, biggest gap ever, mother in law
on phone saying its 90F in London, car reading 3C.

We have had about 3 hours of torrential rain here in North Cambs. still
warm and muggy though. Only just starting to thunder now though. My poor
parched garden must be very grateful for the drenching.

Trouble with these storms is they can be so local, wouldn't be
surprised if it missed our allotment!
