I am looking into selling a 8m high, 6 yr old flowering cherry tree on
ebay. Is it OK at this time of year to relocate this tree? Is there
anything that needs to be taken into account when relocating it? Advice
and views welcome.

Are you sure it is both 8m high and only 6 years old? That's faster than
a leylandii!

I don't think it will move at that size, so you are basically selling an
ex-cherry.

If, otoh, its 8ft rather than 8m, you have a chance, but it needs to
moved in the dormant season.
