New garden is full of bindweed, tangled in amongst the borders. So far I
have been untangling it as gently as possible and then spraying with
glycophosphate. Will this work? Does anyone have any better ideas? Thanks in
anticipation

Cut top and bottom off a plastic bottle. Put the cylinder formed over
a bindweed stem, curling it up inside if it is long enough. Then spray
inside the bottle and leave the bottle there until the glyphosate has
dried. It's the best method if you don't mind using chemicals.
