Does the vine weevil grub attack bamboo roots ?

Hazel

normally vine weevils like the roots of Primulas, polyanthus,
strawberries, geraniums but if you have any plants in pots they they
have
been known to take up residence

Try watering your bamboo with a solution of Armillotox every 10 days

that
should kill any pests

I was asking in case it happened, not that it has.

thanks nambucca

Yes they will, I have yet to find a plant that they wont have a go at if
grown in peat in a pot, some plants however they seem to either like more,
or do more damage to, Bamboo is not one of those, but they will use it if
there is nothing else better around!
