ones... are they bad for plants?

No, they are mites, and you need good eyesight to see them at all.

The bright red ones aren't bad for plants.

Red spider mite (loosely called red spider) are more usually a dingy
yellowish brown with a couple of dark spots. They are much smaller than
the red spiders you are talking about, and move more slowly. You will
see them as what looks like powder on the undersides of leaves, more
thickly along the main vein towards the stalk end.

As the infestation increases, they start weaving very fine webs in the
angles of the leaf stalks, and the leaf itself may take on a finely
mottled appearance (doesn't happen so obviously on thick tough leaves
like avocado) before drying out and dying.
