Default Mice eating crocus

Hello friends,

Has anyone got any idea how to prevent mice from eating crocus bulbs which
are planted in pots. I am presuming it is mice causing the damage. There
are holes, about one and a half inches in circumference, appearing in the
top of the pot and you can see where something has been chewing on the

bulbs
below.

Best wishes,
Jeffery.

hi
we have quite a few here
and its either mice or voles probably
no real total cures but some good ideas that may help
1- cover the soil with a layer of coarse grit - they don't seem so keen on
that
2- cover the pot in a piece of fleece well tied aroudn the neck - this also
helps to shed some of the excess rain
