Thanks. I'll look into those angles. (And, yes, OE's clunky way of
blocking messages from specified groups _does_ require you to
subscribe and then instruct the program to delete all messages from
them. My suspicion at present is that it actually carries out the
instruction only for messages _originating_ from the specified group.
OE is of no interest to M$.)
