My impatiens and perlagoniums are still flowering!
I noticed yesterday morning that a patch of thrift has put up a fresh crop
of flowers, even though there was ice on the bird-bath and frost on the
grass. Also, at the weekend, saw a couple of smallish trees (cherries of
some kind?) covered in pale pink blossom.
They could be the winter flowering cherry, Prunus subhirtella, which
flowers all through the winder.
