If you use The Yellow pages or Thompson Local make sure of the following:

that they show you examples of what they can do
they guarantee their work minimum 12 months
they quote and work to British Standards


There are many cowboys work in the landscaping and building trade - avoid them at all costs. Yes they will be cheaper but only in the short term.
