You could use the plant called "Mind-your-own-business" instead of moss.

I have seen it done and it looks very effective, and grows easily, as other
Urglers can confirm ;-)


yes - we have it around our ponds. But it does get the odd patch of
frost damage in winter, though it regrows in spring. You'd be less
troubled by this - we're in Yorkshire.
