Hi all im about to embark on a new project as im shortly moving

the garden is much to be desired, I have come to the conclusion that

really would like to create a habitat that is beneficial to the

length of
which will be around 52meters, I would like to plant it as a double
hedge,
but with so much choice as to what sort of native plants to put in
the hedge
im beginning to get a little lost, im just wondering if anyone could
point
me in the right direction as to some suppliers in the Uk that could

webpage
to show how the garden develops of the years showing pics and info

what I have done and were best the advice came from. Anyway enough

hope (One) can help.
A very good idea. If you have the ability it is also a very good idea to
plant a part of the hedge on a bank thrown up from digging a ditch next
to it, there is a great increase in species benefiting by this. Also I
find that most people don't underplant the hedge, it is important for
wildlife to have the three layers, ground shrub and canopy. Another
thing I would include is small animal retreats, log piles etc, anything
to hide under or in.
