Default [IBC] cork leftovers

Somehow I think cork would be a bad idea. Wouldn't it act like perlite and
float to the surface?
If it was shaved to make wine corks wouldn't it be too fine and clog the
pores of the soil.
One good point someone has made about Bonsai soil is that all the
elements should have very close to the same particle size to avoid cloging the
pores.
