what would really be nice is the ability to block java or JavaScript based
on the individual website. the goggle bar on my IE offers the pop-up
blocker that does this for pop-ups but recently on the whether channel
website, which I visit regularly to check shipping conditions around the
country, one of these weird programs ads took over my computer and would not
let me do anything until it finished its sales pitch. The Weather Channel!

Yes, I play D&D role playing games on the computer. I am truly 'comic book
guy' from the Simpson. One of these websites that offers hints and tips
made me click through 8 links to various flash type ads before it would load
the page I wanted to see. I wish I could find some magical device in one of
the dungeon's ubiquitous locked treasure boxes or barrels that would allow
me to neutralize these types of attacks.

And would you buy Viagra form somebody who couldn't even spell the word?

I has always amazed me that ad makers think they have to flash you in the
face to get a sale.

Most ad's like that are written in JavaScript you can turn it off in most
browsers but be aware that some other web page functions may not work like
drop downs and buttons.
