I asked a similar question a few months ago, i.e. How do you sterilize
the soil in a greenhouse?

I know that it should be replaced every three years, but is there a
foolproof method of sterilizing it??

I believe it can be sterilised in a microwave, but it could take a long time
if you have a lot of it.
