I am wondering what should be done to my bonsai before I store them in my cold frame for the
winter, and even in the spring when I bring them back out. What do people do to keep their bonsai
healthy from bugs and diseases? Is there something I can spray, or do periodically, to accomplish this
and if possible provide me with details, kind/amount of solution, when to spray or whatever, etc. I
have read the following from a bonsai expert, "Each bonsai is dipped into a soap solution and rinsed
off as I put them into the cleaned greenhouse...for the winter." I would greatly appreciate any tips
you can provide on keeping my shohin bonsai healthy, looking like the master's. Thanks!
