Anton, just one question, what exactly is 'landscape cloth' made from?
Was wondering if it's available in Australia.

Landscape cloth is woven from synthetic fiber, usually black and somewhat
loose. It is used to lay on planting beds under mulch to control weeds but
allow moisture to penetrate to the soil.
There are different grades and quality. The commercial grade I use comes in
300 foot rolls and is six feet wide. It will last for years even in full sun.
A homeowners grade is frequently sold in retail stores and it is usually
only three feet wide and maybe 100 feet long. It breaks down much more quickly.
