Default Gardens and Weather

Hi all,

New poster here although I have been lurking for a while.

I am Paul, from Suffolk, and I work as a full time greenkeeper at the
local golf club.

Obviously, one of the most important things for us to consider is the
weather. For instance, this morning was very frosty and subsequently
we were not able to work on the course in case of leaving black
"marks" on the greens/fairways, etc.

One of the things I have noticed on the net is that there is a
distinct lack of weather-related information for gardeners, people in
horticulture, etc.

I have visited a web-site over the last few months that is primarily
about the weather: http://www.ukweatherworld.co.uk

I have recently started moderating a new forum on this website which
is titled "On the Land". As the name suggests, it is directed at
people who work on the land or have an interest in gardening, etc.

This forum can be found at:
http://www.ukweatherworld.co.uk/foru...asp?forumid=34

As well as a range of other features, I provide a weekly weather
forecast on this forum (updated every Saturday morning) which is
directed especially towards gardeners.

I know it seems like blatant advertising, but I am not an owner of
this site or anything like that and have no financial interest. I
think that people here would find the site a very useful tool in
planning ahead, and would love to help people out.

Please do take time to visit the forum, and feel free to register. It
is all free!
