I agree... n°1 looks completely like my Jackmanii. And it does start
to flower a little late here too.

Thanks both - I think you're right. In my muddled memory I must have got
Ernest Markham and Jackmanii confused. Here's hoping the frosts stay away a
little longer so that all the buds it has can open.
