Default Lawn Seeding failure

I have very little grass and lots of bare area.

A month ago I core aerated and seeded my lawn (also fertilized and limed).

And waited for rain. I'm on a well, and I can't see pumping water onto the
ground in the middle of a severe drought.

Prior to today, we have had one rain since I seeded. The leaves are falling
and everytime I remove them with the blower, I can tell I am also removing
seed, lime and fertilizer.

Are the small percentage of remaining seeds likely to germinate at this
point? Once the leaves are down (and removed) in another week or so, is
there any benefit to re-seed this late?

Leaves falling on a patch of ground is &deity's way of telling you
to either not grow grass there or to cut down trees.
