Whats the best time of winter to do hardwood cuttings, in the UK.

Mid Winter ???
or Feb ????
I'd say more like a month ago; but leaf-fall has been late this year,

It depends on what the cuttings are and where you put them, Roses in the
open ground Oct Nov works well, Wisteria in cold frame Late Jan to Feb works
better.
