save me a warm one, Cheryl!! (ummmm the warm and luscious smells of baking
cookies.........sigh, I can almost smell them................) the ice
missed us, but we got almost half an inch of desperately needed rain here.
North Carolina, South Carolina (??!?) and ATLANTA???????? got ice, but we
just got reeeeeaaaallly cold rain................sometimes we get the bear,
other times the bear gets us........it's a crap shoot around here with
weather fronts lately. I'd have actually welcomed snow, but I tend to not
care too much for freezing rain and ice. Trees don't hold up under it and
breaking trees sadden me. I'd be in a mess if my 5 and 6 story jack pines
were coated in an inch of ice.....................I ain't got a good working
chain saw anymore.........

now with that moisture to tuck in those bulbs, maybe I'll have some new
surprises to mingle in with the other residents...
