Default Log roll edging

Has anybody ever used these log roll edging, are they just secured with 2x2
stakes or are they pegged also.
I am planning to use them to mark off an area for raising above the garden,
so they will have approx. 6" of earth behind them pushing them out.

I used the short ones last year to define the edges of a 13/14 yard long
bark path. I only staked them at either end of the path and found that
by making a shallow trench and hammering each roll home they were quite
firm. However, with the weight of earth behind you might have to use the
longer log rolls and stake each or every other roll.

Shop around before you buy - I bought mine in the local Focus DIY store
at half the price of other stores.

Regards.
