Default Spring bulbs found - too late to plant ?

The message om
from contains these words:

Hi ther, I found a box of spring bulbs in my father's shed and was
wondering if it is too late to plant them now for an April blooming ?
Would 4 months enough time if we have frost free weather ?

Well, it can't do any harm. Some may not bloom this year, others may be
a bit late, but usually, they catch up and flower only a few days later
than they would have done if you'd planted them at the proper time.

(I had some scillas and grape hyacinths in June last year for a similar
reason.)
