Done that .. and read the catalogs. Unfortunately, the marketing hype
tends
to make all strawbs 'sweet', 'delicious' etc as opposed to some being
'plain', 'not that sweet', etc. So I hoped for some info from people who
had
experience of growing them.

Or maybe they are all stunning fruit ;-)

I'll just have to pick some and hope...

Just get one each of some different varieties, and see how each one
suits you, you should not need to order any more of your chosen ones
next year as they will all produce runners and you will/should have more
than you require next year.
