They are beautiful fish and will grow quite large in your pond. Mine did well in zone 6- but were all picked off by hawks over the years. They are slower fish and easier prey for herons, and hawks. They also will breed with comets so you may have some interesting fish spawn in the upcoming years. Happy ponding.
