Default Green Algae

I have a 29g (US) planted tank which is doing quite well. However I
have noticed that some of the plants are getting Green Algae on their
leaves, especially the Java Fern. I have supplemental CO2 injected
through a diffuser, and all the water parameter look good. Is this a
lighting problem? All the plants are doing well and growing tremendously.
I just don't understand the algae.

Be glad it's the Green algae and not that black sooty looking diatom crud.
:-( I spend several hours doing a massive water change on one of my 55g
tanks today. That was after removing as much of this unsightly sooty
looking "stuff" as possible. I have no idea why it's infesting this one
tank when the other 55, set up so similarly, doesn't have it. I plan to add
another shop light to the tank and see if extra light helps before the
plants are suffocated and die.
