Default Extracting chlorophyll, carotenoids, anthocyanin, etc

I just finished a lab in one of my university classes involving pigment
extraction. You can use acetone or 80% ethanol to extract the pigments.
Once chlorophyll is extracted everything else is too. Use
chromatography paper to separate out the pigments...the only separation
you might not get is the separation of Chl a and b. Once pigments are
separated on the chromo paper cut the strips and redissolve the
pigments. From there you can use your spec to get absorbance readings.

Hope that helps
