Hi,
I need a covering for a play area for my daughter. Probably two dumpy bags
worth. What is it best to go for Bark or Cocoa husk?
Is it OK to buy from my local garden centre/DIY shed or are there better

To back up what othes have told you


As for chipped bark go for standard decorative bark but put "mirco chipped
bark" on as the top layer. it covers a lot less area than you might think so
if you estimate 2 bags buy 3 or 4. --- Wickes-Focus usually do a good deal
on a multi buy.
Don't be alarmed if the bag is a bit mouldy and sweet smelling when you open
it any mould vannishes after day or so
It will last longer if you lay it over an old carpet.

The cocoa husk is only realy a weed suppresenct a very good one because if
forms a kind of sticky mat over the surface
