Default Saxifraga portosanctana

Hi,

I grow Saxifragas, one of which is S. portosanctana, a lovely indoor
variety. Most have been growing in my conservatory where they have done
well, except for S. portosanctana which was looking very unhappy. I have
tried various gravely soil mixes for it without success, and as a last
resort, I have taken cuttings from my two surviving plants and used an
ericaceous compost with added vermiculite. I would welcome thoughts from any
other Saxifraga enthusiast re. the use of an ericaceous compost for S.
portosanctana in particular. Mine certainly don't appear to like
run-of-the-mill gravely humous, whereas all the others do.
