Default Chelsea - Working

Hi

I'm new in this group - looking for some advice for a friend of mine

She's working at a specialist herb nursery who have a stand at the
show and has been asked if she would work there for two days

Apparently accommodation is not part of the deal and as she has no
friends in that part of town we were wondering about the chances of
finding a hotel in the area - would they be booked up by now?

Not part of the deal? If her employers want her to work there and
it's out of her normal area, accommodation is their problem. If she
normally lived and worked in London and it was a different area, they
could reasonably expect her to tube to work, but if she's from
Manchester, it's down to them.
Steve

That's pretty much exactly what I told her

I think it's one of those small companies where you do this sort of thing
"for the love son"

If it was me they could go rotate

But then I work freelance anyway so more than one employer has said that
people like me have a "bad attitude" - well if not liking being reamed is a
bad attitude then I guess they've got me there :-)

And it's one of those jobs which will look good on her CV and she's trying
to make a career in horticulture - so she's between a rock and a campsite
buy the look of things

Cheers

Tim
