One outstanding problem is the Nitrate - it is 0 as is everything else -

That is probably why you have this algae.

what there is is taken immediately by the plants even though they are
planted in Flourite which should be supplying the nutrients.

Flourite only supplies iron. In a high light tank, you will still need to add
fertilizer, such as Tropica Mastergrow.

But most fertilizers sold for aquariums don't have any nitrate in them.
Certainly not enough for a tank like yours. You need to get some potassium
nitrate.
