Default Need a climber for a north facing wall, to live in a pot

Not at all! But not all of those things would like a true north
wall - they face north east in my garden.

The key to north walls in the UK is whether they are "open" in
the sense that most of the sky is visible. If so, many things
will grow and flower. If not, then unvariegated ivy is the
only think I know of that has a hope :-(
