garden on the same level and siphoning would not work for this.

Siphoning is however a truly exellent technique- I used to use it for large
aquaria and almost got to the point of not getting
fish-urea-mixed-with-warm-water in my mouth any more, but it always seemed to
happen every so often, just to keep me on my toes.
