I find myself in two minds about this. Whilst I'm happy to believe a
squirrel is edible, I find it hard to imagine that the little meat
available on one makes it worth the effort of killing and butchering.

Then again, today I had plans for one of our Indian Game cockerels to
end up in the freezer, but the little sod was utterly impossible to
catch and I ended up having to shoot it, so comparatively speaking
perhaps a squirrel isn't that much effort after all...
