Hi, i posted a few days ago about asking your neighbour for their
greenhouse, well in the meantime someone in work has said that i could
have theirs, but i would need to dismatle it, now she does not know
alot so did not know the fixings.

Can someone say what tools i would need to dismatle in and is the glass
easy to remove?

I did this once 10 years ago and it was more or less common sense.

1) remove all glass; the panes are usually held in place by small W shaped
springs. These are replaceable so you do not need to keep knackerred ones;
you can buy more glass and clips easily. Make notes of which panes went
where. Usually they just come in standard sizes of 2 feet wide and a
mixture of lengths apart from around the door wher you get odd shaped ones.
2) get a camera and photograph any complicated looking bits (e.g. around the
door and where gables meet ridge).
3) dismantle. Usually the only hard part is detaching from the
base/plinth/ground. Often the fixings/bolts whatever are corroded. You
will probably need to use fresh fixings for the new home. Most of the rest
of the framework is held together with small standard greenhouse bolts.
These have a square head which can be held by a screwdriver or spanner and a
stanard sized nut.
4) in my case, leave in back garden for 6 months nad re-erect during a
blizzard 2 days after giving up cigarettes.

Thanks
