Default When to cut a wildflower patch?

We have just sown wildflower seeds. Down came the rain three hours

I read somewhere that wildflower meadows need to be trimmed or cut back.
Can anyone tell me when?

Find below a link and scroll down to 'management of wild flowers from
seed'. It tells you when and how to cut. You need to do this so that
the grass don't over take over the flowers. The later need to establish
well and next year you will have an even better meadow. How big is it?
(I've made a mini one 4 years ago about 4mx4m - but I don't cut I just
hand weed ;o)
