Default Any hope for me, or my garden

A beautiful day, worked hard in the garden. Prepared a seed bed and sowed
pickling onions, lettuce and beetroot. Similarly planted main crop
potatoes. All these were fed chicken manure and growmore. On returning my
tools etc. to the garage, there was the growmore, bl**dy laughing at me,
I'd used lawn spring feed, weed and moss killer instead. I accept there is
not much hope for me, but what about the garden?

You have my deepest sympathy and total admiration for announcing to the
world what a Prat you have been:-)
I agree with Sacha's comments and I do not think all is lost. The feed bit
of weed/feed will be fine. The weed bit if hosed off the leaves should be
OK-but you need to be quick.
I trust you will accept advice from an idiot who once filled his car
radiator with petrol.

You want to go a wee bit easier when you indulge yourself with the
puggle~pani, Rupe!.
Nemmind, eh?. you gave me a gusto laff when I was feeling a bit "downish".
One cold winter's morning I was proceeding down a narrow country road when I
had to stop because a chap going the other way suddenly stopped, leaped out
of his car, flung the bonnet up, stripped off his coat and started thrashing
the engine with the coat . I was lucky to get over to him quickly with my
trusty fire extinguisher and quickly subdued the flames and black smoke..The
problem was that he lived in a tiny village and had no garage so he parked
outside as usual but had put a large heavy sack under the bonnet and over
the engine to keep the frost out.. Next morning he forgot about it and drove
off. There must have been petrol vapour under there causing a stray spark
under the sacking..
He was lucky to have avoided a complete burn-out.
Doug.
