Default Lawn problem

Hi

I've just used a strimmer and then a mower to cut back a seriously
overgrown lawn in my new garden. The result is a lawn which is patchy
yellow with what looks like an underlying moss issue (when I reked it it
tore up moss I think). Is this a good time to out down some moss killer
and fertiliser? if not, what should I do?

Thanks

xiv

Forget the moss for the time being and mow regularly. It should green up
pretty quickly. Killing the moss is only temporary it will come back
unless you find out the causes of moss growth. Poor drainage and shading
are the favourites.

Quite possibly a drainage issue
