Default Broad bean problems

Hi,

My family is growing broad beans in our veg. patch for the first time this year.

Already they have suffered from bean weevil. I sprayed them with Sybol last week but today I saw a couple of weevils on some of the plants. I don't really like using insecticides and I couldn't find any info on which insecticide to use. The plants are flowering now so I can't use Sybol on them.

Should I spray the plants with something else or will they be ok?

Also today i noticed the leaves have what look like small black mites on them. I wondered if anyone knew how to tell if these are black aphids or not? They are only tiny, about 1mm in length so I am not sure if they are black aphids.

Any help much appreciated,

Sallyann
