Default [IBC] sacrifice branches.. remove each season???

Steve:

As you know, each tree is a unique specimen. It is difficult to give you the
best approach for developing the trunk and new top of your tree without
seeing it. Can you post a picture.

It is true that the sacrifice branch(es) will lead to scarring if they remain
on the tree for years. One approach to inducing accelerated trunk growth is
to overplant and superfeed, i.e., place the tree in a large pot, allow the
tree to develop a massive root base, and aggressively feed (Superfeeding 2).
You can, of course, return the tree to a garden bed and then feed
aggressively to achieve the same end.
