Thanks, Pam. It does show that if enough people put enough pressure
on, we CAN make a difference and get the sort of programmes viewers
want to see, not just the kind that producers want to mess about with!
Maybe, at last, we shall have a return to gardening programmes that are
about plants and gardens, not about talking heads.
I've always thought that Mike Nelhams of the Abbey Gardens on Tresco
and Keith Wiley, late of The Garden House at Buckland Monachorum,
would be excellent TV garden presenters, too.
