I have a friend who grows mostly cattaleya orchids under lights and has a
problem with bud and flower blasting.

My friend lives in an apartment above another person. The person in the
lower apartment keeps the heat so high that the temperature in my friend's
apartment never drops below 80 F. The humidity seems good at around 40 to
50%. I'm not sure how the heating system works but I know my friend has
no control over it.

My question is the high temperature the cause of my friend's problem with
flowers blasting?
