- Sea Kale (Crambe Maritima) This is a beautiful perennial with
honey-scented flowers and you can force it like rhubarb in spring to get
a luxury vegetable.
Another advantage of both the above is that you may get a reputation as
unconventional, eccentric but knowledgable rather than lazy :-)
Also consider onions.
