Default frogs

Hello,

We've moved house and there's a pond in the garden. It's full of
tadpoles. How long do they take to become frogs?

By the end of this summer they should all have become small frogs, about
1cm long. (You should see them beginning to sprout legs very soon). They
will continue growing, and become breeding size (about 3 inches) in 4-5
years.

I hear that frogs are
good because they eat slugs; is that true?

Allegedly. Toads are better.
They certainly don't do any harm in the garden.
